Clovis High School Announces 2024 Hall of Honor Alumni Awards Luncheon

Clovis High School is gearing up for a special event as the CMS Foundation and Alumni Committee proudly announce the 2024 Hall of Honor awards. These awards aim to recognize former graduates of Clovis High School whose achievements, character strengths, and citizenship serve as shining examples for current students.

Individuals interested in attending this prestigious event can now purchase tickets at the G.C. Ross Admin Building/Superintendent's Office on 1009 Main Street in Clovis. The tickets are priced at $40 for individual entries and $300 for a table of 8. The public is encouraged to participate in this celebration of excellence and share memories by bringing their CHS yearbook, letter jacket, and school pictures.

The event, sponsored by the Clovis Municipal Schools Education Foundation & Alumni Association, will take place at the Clovis Civic Center on Saturday, June 1, 2024, from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. The ceremony will honor outstanding alumni in various categories.

In the Business & Industry category, Jamiah Hargins (Harris) from the Class of 2002, Chet Pharies from the Class of 1996, and Heather Waller (Leal) from the Class of 1992 will be celebrated. For Sports & Entertainment, John Ortiz from the Class of 1988 will be recognized. The Top Cat Award will be presented to Jan Cox, and in Government & Service, Vanoy Welch from the Class of 1989 will be honored.

As stated by the CMS Foundation and Alumni Committee, the event promises to be a memorable occasion celebrating the remarkable achievements of these outstanding individuals.
