Five schools exit support status with NMPED recognition

Representatives from the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) Priority Schools Bureau visited five schools on December 16, 2024, to acknowledge their significant progress in education. These schools were honored for successfully exiting support status, which reflects the dedication of educators, students, and families involved.

The schools recognized were Marshall 6th Grade Academy, iAcademy at Lincoln-Jackson, Gattis Middle School, Parkview Elementary, and Yucca Middle School. Each received a banner as a symbol of their achievement.

A spokesperson for Clovis Municipal Schools expressed pride in the collective effort and growth demonstrated by these campuses. They emphasized the importance of collaboration among educators and students in pursuing educational excellence. "At Clovis Municipal Schools," they stated, "we believe that every campus, every educator, and every student plays a vital role in our shared journey toward excellence."

The school district extended gratitude to NMPED for acknowledging these accomplishments and supporting their mission to improve all schools continuously.
