Breaking News: Roswell Emergency Units are on scene of a single shooting on the 400 block of East Forest St.
(Update) “A 25-year-old man was found in a backyard with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where medical personnel described the wound as non-life-threatening. The victim told officers he had no information about shot him. The investigation is continuing” said RPD Spokesman Todd Wildermuth.
Just after 6am Friday, A caller stated her friend was just shot in the Alley/Rear of the home.
Officers arrived and located a single male with one gunshot wound to his torso, Medics have emergently transported him to Eastern New Mexico Medical Center after listing him in serious condition and a level 1 trauma.
No suspects were located on scene, we will update this story as more information becomes available.
