March 29, 2023 is Vietnam Veterans Day. VFW Post 2387, in conjunction with the Belen Veterans Memorial at Eagle Park, 305 Eagle Lane, will be honoring all Veterans who served in the Vietnam War from 1955-1975, when the war officially ended.
There will be a flag and wreath laying ceremony to honor the fallen at the Veterans Memorial and an Open House with refreshments at the Memorial Visitor Center. The event will run from 0900-1200 hours.
As veterans, we want to pay a special tribute to all the nurses who served and sacrificed during the war. If there are any nurses that served in Vietnam living in the area please come by so we can honor you and your service.
