Clovis Municipal Schools is inviting community engagement in a unique project that aims to honor the history of arts in Clovis. The district is working on a renovation of Marshall Auditorium, part of which includes a mural of photographs that capture the essence of fine arts performances historically held at the venue. The mural will be located in the auditorium’s foyer, serving as an homage to its cultural past.

Community members are encouraged to contribute by submitting photographs of both public and student performances that took place at Marshall Auditorium. Submissions are not limited to music and theater; they also include dance, visual arts, and noteworthy events like the Clovis Musical Festival, Clovis Community College Cultural Arts Series, and various Community Band concerts.

The preferred format for submissions is digital, but assistance is available for those needing help scanning photos at the Clovis Municipal Schools Central Office, located at 1009 N. Main St.

For those interested, submissions should be made by April 30, 2024, by emailing m6gaid@clovis-schools.org. Further inquiries can be directed to Joe Strickland at 575-769-4300.
