Breaking News: Roswell Police and Chaves County Sheriff’s office is currently Investigating a shooting that occurred near Roswell High School.
The report is the injury was just a graze, and has non life threatening injuries. CCSO located the vehicle and it began to flee at high speeds.
The Chaves County Undersheriff Charles Ysals proceeded to initiate a PIT maneuver to stop the the fleeing vehicle, which was successful causing the vehicle to roll. (which has been confirmed from Sheriff Mike Herrington)
He also stated there was no officer involved shooting, and the suspect was taken into custody.
