Looking ahead to preliminary plans for the 2023 UFO Festival, as well as gathering input regarding potential new tourism events Roswell citizens would like to see developed, will be the focus of a Tourism Talk on Tuesday, Oct. 25. The City of Roswell will host the meeting at 1 p.m. at the Roswell Convention Center (912 N. Main St.).
The meeting will feature staff from the city’s Public Affairs Department offering a brief review of this year’s UFO Festival and discussing initial plans for next year’s festival. There will also be discussion of developing additional events at other times of the year to further promote tourism. City staff will be seeking ideas and input from local businesses, organizations and citizens attending the meeting.
The city tries to hold a Tourism Talk each month to discuss various tourism-related topics. Each Tourism Talk is generally designed for discussion among city representatives and local tourism-related businesses and organizations, but the meetings are open to anyone.
