On August 23, 2022, witnesses observed a male and a female with blood on her face fighting. The incident began at Blue Mountain Rd and North Main Street. The original callers stated a female was forced into the vehicle. A few minutes later, Roswell Police Officers located the vehicle traveling southbound on North Kentucky Avenue. The vehicle immediately fled from police. The suspect pulled onto North Main Street from W 6th Street and proceeded south on North Main Street. Officers lost sight of the vehicle on South Main Street near Bland Street. A BOLO (Be on the lookout) was immediately sent to all surrounding Law Enforcement Agencies.
Several witness were located at the original scene of the incident. One witness stated she saw the male attempt to throw the female into traffic on North Main Street and then threw her onto the ground. The witness confronted the male and he immediately returned to his vehicle yelling at the female to get in the vehicle. She got into the back seat, and the vehicle fled the area almost striking vehicles in traffic.
The vehicle is a black Nissan Juke between the years of 2011-2019. The license plate was an unreadable temporary plate. The key fob to the vehicle was dropped at the scene and recovered by officers. Nissan was unable to track or identify the vehicle by the key fob. Several videos were located of the vehicle and one video of the male and female ordering food prior to the incident.
Officers have expelled all current leads and are requesting help from the public to assist in locating and identifying the male and more importantly assuring the safety of the female in this case. Please see attached photos.
