The Village of Ruidoso has closed the following Roads due to flooding and debris in the roadway. Paradise Canyon is closed from Hull Road to Sudderth Drive, Paradise Canyon is closed from Meander Drive to Reese Drive, Gavilan Canyon is closed from Meander Drive to Hull Road, and access to Gavilan Canyon from Hull through Warrior Dr is also closed.
Village of Ruidoso staff is available to answer questions regarding road closures, flooding, and additional flooding inquiries, such as picking up sandbags, etc. through our Emergency Operations Center phone number (575) 258-6900. NON-EMERGENT calls can be routed to non-emergent dispatch at (575) 258-7365 and all EMERGENCY calls should continue through dialing 9-1-1.
The Village of Ruidoso will continue emergency communications and notifications through our VOR Facebook page, the VOR Twitter account, and the VOR website as needed. If evacuations are necessary, a shelter will be provided at the Ruidoso Convention Center.
