Kindergarten registration for the 2025-2026 school year is set to open on April 24, 2025, at all Clovis Municipal Schools elementary campuses. There are three registration options available for families to suit their preferences.

Online registration will be accessible from April 24 and can be completed entirely through Skyward Family Access, requiring necessary documents such as a birth certificate, proof of residency, and immunization records to be uploaded. In-person registration can be done on April 24 at the elementary school zoned for the child from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Staff will be available to help with the registration process and document uploads.

For current students enrolled in the four-year-old program at Lockwood Early Childhood Center, a dedicated registration day is scheduled on April 25, 2025, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on the Lockwood campus. Required documentation should be brought for registration.

Families interested in the Kindergarten Bilingual Program must register at La Casita Elementary on April 24. “Those with questions about the bilingual program can contact Santi.gutierrez@clovis-schools.org.”

Documents required for registration include a birth certificate, an up-to-date immunization record or state-approved exemption, a social security number, and proof of residence with a current utility bill or rental/lease contract.

Children who will be five years old before 12:01 AM on September 1, 2025, are required to enroll in kindergarten unless a waiver is provided by the Academic Services Department.

Skyward Family Access facilitates the entire registration process online starting April 24. Families without a Skyward account can create one through the provided link or seek assistance from their child’s school.

For additional questions, families are encouraged to contact their child’s zoned school, with contacts listed for each elementary school. The necessary handbook for the 25/26 kindergarten year is available in both English and Spanish.
