The Roswell City Council has implemented two new policies to assist water utility customers in managing their bills. These measures apply to both residents and businesses, regardless of their location within or outside the city limits.

One policy addresses financial hardships that may arise from various circumstances, including recent adjustments to water rates. It provides an opportunity for customers to request credits if they face difficulties due to leaks under specific conditions or other financial challenges such as significant medical expenses, job loss, or military deployment.

The second policy is designed for residential water customers who are at least 50% disabled and living at or below federal poverty guidelines. This group can also apply for bill credits under the new regulations.

Details about eligibility requirements and application forms are available on the city's Utilities Department webpage. Interested individuals can also obtain this information from the Utility Billing Office located at 415 N. Richardson Ave. Additionally, information regarding these policies will be included in upcoming billing cycles for water customers.
