From March 10, 2023 post.

Curry County hosted a Wildland Class S130/190 for the volunteer fire departments on the weekend of February 25-26 and March 4-5 at the Curry County Administration building. The class was put on by the State Forestry Division and was taught by Instructor Kerry Gregg. It included three days of classroom training and the final day, skills training was held at the City of Clovis Fire Department Training Grounds on Brady Street. Skills day is a requirement in order to receive a certificate for the class that is recognized nationally.

We would like to thank Field Fire Department, Countyline Fire Department, and Clovis Fire Department for having participants in the class!
