A post earlier today alerting residents to people going door to door representing home security firm Vivint indicated this activity could be a scam. This post was based on information provided by the firm when questioned by RPD. However, new information provided by other company personnel now confirms these people going door to door are legitimate representatives of the business. The company has promised to better inform RPD of such activities in the future.
