The Outdoor Warning Siren System in Roswell, Dexter and Hagerman (set up to alert the public of a weather-related or other emergency) will be tested Monday (Nov. 7) around noon. All the sirens are regularly tested the first Monday of each month. In an actual weather emergency, the purpose of the sirens is to warn people who are outside to get inside a building as severe weather approaches.
