2022 UFO Festival

The 2022 UFO Festival had a $2.19 million direct economic impact for Roswell and brought more than 40,000 visitors to the city.

The annual festival marked the 75th anniversary of the Roswell Incident, when crash debris was confirmed in a government release to be from a flying saucer -- then reclassified as a weather balloon.

The 2022 festival featured a headliner concert with Midland, various tours, an "Alien Crawl" featuring local restaurants, a comic-con, outdoor events at Bottomless Lakes State Park and various other events from city entities and local businesses.

Thank you to all of our visitors, near and far, for seeing Roswell and loving our city as much as we do.
