Mayor Jennings and the City Council proclaim October 13, 2022 as 2022 UIPM Pentathlon Youth World Championship Day for four New Mexico Military Institute students. These students and Roswell, NM natives brought honor to both their school and the City of Roswell. Their hard work, dedication, sportsmanship and exceptional athleticism allowed them to compete on the world-stage in Lignano, Itlay and Poland. The students are Charlotte Ahaus, Mary Kathryn Olivera, Jonah Pino and Tessa Walker. Congratulations to them, their parents and NMMI coaches Jan Olesinski and Nathan Schrimsher.
