Trafficking Drugs

A Dexter man who was convicted of trafficking drugs in Roswell following an investigation that included the Chaves County Metro Narcotics Task Force, of which RPD is a key part, was sentenced Oct. 12 in U.S. District Court to 23 years in prison. Richard Orlinski “Sugar” Sanchez, 44,  earlier pleaded guilty to numerous federal criminal counts related to the drug trafficking.
