Breaking News:
The Chaves County Detention Center has reported one of their inmates has escaped (possibly through an open door) shortly before 9pm.
Chaves County Sheriff’s Deputies are on scene (just confirmed the escape on camera) and are being assisted by RPD officers, and have notified State Police.
The male inmate ( Mason Lucero, 27) is believed to be wearing Blue CCDC pants and a white t shirt / or white muscle shirt, and believed to have jumped a fence along the north end of the facility.
