Clovis - Curry County Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.
Clovis Community College is committed to providing quality education, while keeping our students, faculty, and staff safe during this pandemic. All academic classes will be offered online this fall. This will include courses with virtual lectures and interactive access with instructors throughout the semester. Face-to-face career technical education classes will be offered with COVID-19 safety in mind. Face-to-face physical education classes will be offered the second 8-weeks and will be subject to the current public health order. CCC re-opening plans have been submitted to the Governor and New Mexico Higher Education Department and include strict COVID protocols.
Financial aid and scholarships are available and our knowledgeable staff are here to help with funding to pay for classes. Academic advisors and admissions staff are available to help students make the most of their college experience this fall. To assist students with registration needs, CCC will be hosting a Super Saturday event on August 15 and 22 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Services available on Saturday include placement testing, financial aid assistance, academic advising, registration, and payment assistance. Fall classes start August 24.
