Dexter Fire & Rescue is currently working a structure fire with one fatality at this time. Crews will remain on scene until investigators arrive from the NM State Fire Marshals Office and NM State Police. Thank you to Midway, Hagerman Fire and Sierra Volunteer Fire Departments for your response. Also thank you to AMR Ambulance for assisting us today. OMI, CCSO, Dexter and Hagerman PD are assisting at this time. Hagerman and Dexter Fire units will be on scene for several more hours.
