Adrian Lucero, the Career and Education Program Coordinator at Clovis High School, has been named the Region IV Experienced Professional Fellow for the 2025 Association for Career and Technical Education (ACTE) National Leadership Fellowship Program. This appointment underscores Lucero's dedication to career and technical education (CTE) and his commitment to professional growth.

The Fellowship Program is a yearlong initiative that engages educators across ACTE’s five regions. Participants are involved in activities designed to advance CTE programming and advocacy. These include serving on task forces addressing critical issues at various levels, collaborating with peers through monthly meetings, and presenting at ACTE’s CareerTech VISION 2025 conference.

Lucero expressed gratitude for the opportunities provided by Clovis Municipal Schools (CMS), stating, “I am very thankful for all of the professional development and leadership opportunities that CMS has given me during my time in the district to prepare me for this.” He added, “I am excited to represent Clovis and further develop my knowledge and leadership skills especially around the understanding of policy and advocacy.”

The ACTE National Leadership Fellowship Program was established in 2009 with goals including developing leadership skills among CTE educators, offering hands-on policy-making experiences, and building a network of leaders dedicated to advancing ACTE’s mission.

Lucero's selection aligns with these objectives and highlights his role in enhancing CTE programs within Clovis Municipal Schools. His involvement will contribute to his professional development while strengthening educational excellence within the district.
