This week, Clovis Municipal Schools will celebrate Homecoming week with the students and staff of Clovis High School, inviting the community to join in the festivities.
The week will feature various activities for high school students leading up to the Homecoming Game on Friday. The district encourages everyone to participate in Homecoming Spirit Days, a series of themed dress-up days starting Tuesday after the holiday break, culminating in a display of purple pride for game day.
"We are calling on our Wildcat Nation to play along and help us count down to the game – Show us what you’ve got Clovis!" said a representative from Clovis Municipal Schools.
Spirit Days include:
- Tuesday, September 3: Lilo and Stitch Day - Wear your favorite Lilo and Stitch outfit or tropical gear.
- Wednesday, September 4: Disney Day - Anything and everything Disney.
- Thursday, September 5: Men In Black - Suit up or dress as your favorite alien.
- Friday, September 6: Friday Night Lights - Wear your favorite Wildcat gear.
Participants are reminded that "the best outfits are ones you can learn, work, and play in - stay safe and have fun!"
The community is encouraged to keep an eye out for event announcements and shared celebrations throughout the week.
"Go Cats!"
