Landon Gipson, son of Brad and Alice Gipson, was awarded the Army National Scholarship in the amount of $133,644 on Friday, May 17.
Participating in AFJROTC throughout high school, Landon spent his senior year as Deputy Group Commander of the Clovis High School Wildcat Corps. In the fall, he will attend The Citadel Military College of South Carolina where he will major in computer science. Landon's goal is to commission into the United States Army and become a helicopter pilot.
