In May, Clovis Community College served as the venue for The Clovis Hires: Young Adults (16-24) Career Fair & Hiring Event. The event attracted over 40 employers and partners from across the region. A contingent of 11th and 12th graders from local schools also attended the event.
The students were provided with an opportunity to interact directly with potential employers, fill out job applications, and gain insights into local career opportunities. They also had the chance to inquire about the skills and training required for their chosen career paths.
In addition, students had the opportunity to explore summer internship programs offered by CMS and the City of Clovis. Notably, several students even managed to secure on-the-spot job interviews during the event.
