Amilia Sloan, a student at the Arts Academy at Bella Vista (AABV), emerged victorious in the Amazing Shake competition held in February. This achievement led her to represent her school on a larger stage, The Global Amazing Shake, held in Atlanta, Georgia from March 22-24, 2024.
Sloan's journey to Atlanta was accompanied by Rica Smith, AABV assistant principal, and her mother, Jordan Cote. The Amazing Shake competition focuses on teaching students manners, discipline, respect and professional conduct. As the name suggests, it all starts with a handshake.
The young achiever has made her school proud with her performance at the global level. The Arts Academy continues to celebrate Sloan's accomplishments and encourages its students to follow in her footsteps.
