The GT Parent Advisory Committee Night, held on April 30th, was a resounding success. The event, which saw the participation of 45 adults and 41 children, provided an opportunity for students to showcase their achievements and share their experiences in the GT program.
Secondary students from both the high school and freshman campus took center stage during the event. They spoke about the challenges they have overcome in recent years and shared some of their most memorable experiences in the program. In addition, they collaborated to develop two engaging challenges - one for inclusion in a summer packet for all students and another for future hosting.
The planning and execution of these activities were handled by the students themselves. They meticulously planned the activities, assigned roles, and even created a rubric for evaluation.
One of the highlights of the evening was seeing GT families come together to participate in instant challenges. The CHSFA halls were filled with joy as parents and children alike joined in the fun.
