73.4% of Curry County residents old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 48,716 citizens living in Curry County in 2021, 73.4% were old enough to vote, equating to 35,773 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 18,595 were male, constituting 52%, and 17,178 were female, making up 48%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Curry County during 2021 was lower than the state average, which stands at 77%.
