James Sparks, Senior Director of Student Support Services, announced on Mar. 25 that a parent night will be held for parents of students who receive special education services through an Individualized Education Program (IEP). The event is scheduled for May 7 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Cameo, located at 1500 Cameo Street.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss topics related to special education and future funding opportunities. The session aims to provide information and support for families whose children benefit from specialized educational services.
“LET’S TALK ABOUT SPECIAL EDUCATION & FUTURE FUNDING,” Sparks said in the announcement. He added that more information can be obtained by contacting Student Support Services at 575-769-4490.
