September Mission Pillar Award

The City of Roswell’s Mission Pillar Award recognizes a city employee’s efforts in exhibiting one or more of the city’s core values of accountability, communication, excellence, integrity and teamwork. One award winner is selected each month from the nominations received that month.
The winner of the September Mission Pillar Award is Melissa Garcia, a customer service clerk at the Water Department.
Melissa’s coworkers who nominated her for the award say she is always in a good mood and ready to help customers and those with whom she works. Melissa does the right thing in any given situation and is a good example for her fellow employees. Her coworkers point out that time and time again she has shown integrity and is always accountable.
