At 9:15 am this morning the Chaves County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Roswell Police Department with a call of a male student at Roswell High School with a Gun. Upon arrival the student was detained and the gun was located. The School was put on lock down and a search of the school was done for a possible second suspect with a gun. The school will be evacuated at noon today. The students will all be sent home and a thorough search of the school will be done to find a second weapon. Investigation is ongoing
