The City of Roswell announced on May 12 that the second Council Connection community forum will take place on Tuesday, May 26, at 5:30 p.m. in the event room of Backdraft Barbeque at 301 Railroad Ave.

The Council Connection series is intended to give residents direct updates from the Roswell City Council and administration about city projects and issues. The forums also aim to facilitate discussion and gather citizen input about important topics facing the community.

According to organizers, these forums are scheduled quarterly throughout 2026. The upcoming event is themed “Your Roswell, Your Future: Community Vision Night.”

The City of Roswell provides municipal governance and public services to support local community needs, operates under a city manager who handles daily operations and policy implementation, maintains infrastructure such as water treatment facilities and road networks through its utilities and streets departments, supports community development, provides access to public records for transparency, and serves residents within its municipal boundaries for various public services—all according to the official website.

By hosting these forums throughout the year, city officials seek continued engagement with residents regarding both ongoing initiatives and future plans.
