From February 2, 2023 post.

RPD works every day to try to prevent and reduce crime in our community. The efforts of our many dedicated personnel, along with the cooperation and support of the citizens we serve, have yielded positive results. Police Chief Phil Smith would like to share some statistics showing the trends occurring in recent years when it comes to the department’s call volume, arrests, and crime totals and rates (for Part 1 crimes, the most violent and dangerous crimes as defined by the FBI).

(These stats go through 2021. The stats from the recently completed year of 2022 will be presented in the RPD portion of the upcoming City of Roswell Annual Report.)
