Eddy County issued the following announcement on March 30.
Today, March 29, the Food and Drug Administration authorized a 4th Pfizer and Moderna vaccine dose for people age 50 and older.
NMDOH has been made aware of text messages being sent from a local number that offers help scheduling fourth COVID-19 vaccines and prompts individuals to fill out a form that includes their social security number.
These text messages are likely used in an effort to steal personal information. NMDOH will never request your social security number by text or email.
