Chaves County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a homicide that occurred just south of Roswell City Limits along East Hobson Road.
The Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help with identifying the victim as there was no identification found on the person.
CCSO Undersheriff Charles Ysals told us that the male victim had reddish brown hair and beard (a full but short beard) short hair, was found wearing a black T-shirt, black “dickies” style pants tucked into brown work boots. He also stated the victim had two distinct tattoos, with one being a small cross under his right eye, and one across chest (just below neck line) the word ‘Bertha’.
