Elementary Parks and Playgrounds Open to Public

Elementary Parks and Playgrounds Open to Public
0Comments

Playgrounds and parks located on the campuses of District elementary schools are open for public use.
Located within and near neighborhoods, Clovis Municipal Schools has maintained a tradition of extending these facilities to the public as community parks.
While elementary playgrounds and parks are generally open day and night, year-round, District school facilities are closed to the public when:
– School is in session and students are present
– Seasonal and/or extracurricular programs are being conducted and students are present
– Construction or repairs are ongoing
Currently, with the exception of the athletic track at Yucca Middle School, which is open for use, only elementary parks and playgrounds are open to the public.
At such time as secondary facilities can be made available, to include running tracks and fields, further announcements will be made.
Community members are invited and encouraged to enjoy the use of our facilities, while taking care and consideration to ensure the students of our District are able to continue to enjoy and benefit from these facilities.
