Clovis High School Women’s Select Choir awarded Best in Festival at Lone Star Classic

The Clovis High School Women’s Select Choir was named “Best in Festival” at the Lone Star Classic Music Festival, according to an announcement on April 28. The choir traveled to Euless, Texas, on April 25 and received superior ratings from all adjudicators.

The award recognizes the ensemble as the top-performing group across the two-day event. Organizers notified the choir of their achievement on April 27.

This honor comes after a year of accomplishments for the Women’s Select Choir, which also earned Sweepstakes honors at the Music Performance Assessment and was named 1-5A NMAA Treble Choir State Champions.
