City Employee’s Efforts

The City of Roswell’s Mission Pillar Award recognizes a city employee’s efforts in exhibiting one or more of the city’s core values of accountability, communication, excellence, integrity and teamwork. One award winner is selected each month from the nominations received that month.

The winner of the October Mission Pillar Award is Zachary Lujan from the Roswell Convention Center. He works as the General Facility and Operations Supervisor.

The multiple nominations Zach received from his coworkers for this award describe him as a great supervisor, as well as teacher when any of the staff has a question or a problem they need help with. Zach, who stepped up to fill in as the facility manager for a couple months, has a fantastic ability to talk to customers and resolve issues that may come up.
