Chaves County Sheriff units responded to 380 east mile marker 161 ref a subject being pushed out of a vehicle. A few minutes later a female called saying she was at mile marker 165 and her husband had kidnapped her and threatened to shoot her while holding a gun. During the investigation it was learned the incident started at the Roswell inn and the female was able to take control of the vehicle on 380 when the male pulled over to find a cigarette. When she began to pull away he began fighting her and she was thrown from the vehicle. The Roswell Police Department and the Sheriff’s Office were able to find the male at the Roswell inn and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.
The male was arrested for kidnapping, Battery on a Household member and interference with communication.
